Richard Van Der Wall

Richard Van Der Wall brings over eighteen years of professional experience in supervisory roles, law enforcement communications, and emergency medical services. His career began in 2005 with the Ramsey Rescue Squad, where he served as Lieutenant and Captain, and continued with the Ramsey Ambulance Corps as an EMT. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Felician College (2012). Since 2010, Richard has worked as a Police and 9-1-1 Communications Dispatcher, serving with the Ramsey Police Department and Northwest Bergen Central Dispatch. He started in the education field over fifteen years ago, teaching hazardous materials, emergency communications, and leadership courses, and founded Allied Training and Emergency Consulting in January 2023.
