Matt Small

With more than three decades of experience in emergency services and EMS education, Matt has dedicated his career to patient care, leadership, and training the next generation of providers. Certified as a First Responder (now EMR) in 1990, an EMT in 1992, and a Paramedic in 1999, he has served in a variety of roles, including firefighter-paramedic, lieutenant, EMS chief, and EMT program coordinator. Today, he serves as the Paramedic Program Coordinator at the Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences. Matt holds a bachelor's degree in Emergency Management and maintains instructor certifications in EMT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS.
