Kurt Freer

Kurt Freer is a board certified nurse practitioner in the Section of Pediatric Critical Care with dual appointment in the Division of Pediatric Plastic Surgery at St Christophers Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. He also holds certification as a Pre-Hospital Registeted Nurse and provides coverage for the Critical Care Transport Team at the hospital. He has spent his entire career at St Chris caring fur critically ill as well as burn injured children. He serves as an instructor and course coordinator for Advanced Burn Life Support offered by the American Burn Association and hsd lectures regionally on Pediatric Burns. He holds clinical faculty appointments at both the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University and is involved in the education of pediatric residents, fellows and advanced practice students at St. Chris. In his free time he enjoys camping and rooting for Philly sports team.
