Joshua Houck

Joshua Houck, MBA, FP-C is the Director of Emergency Preparedness for Jefferson Health – Lehigh Valley Region. Josh earned a Bachelor of Arts in Emergency and Disaster Management from American Public University in 2014 and Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University in 2022. Josh is board certified through the ANCC as a National Healthcare Disaster Professional, through the IBFCSM as a Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional, and through the IBSC as a certified Flight Paramedic. He has over 27 years of combined emergency services and volunteer fire service experience, with 17 years of experience as a Paramedic. In addition to his role at Jefferson Health, Josh serves as the Co-Chair of the Northeast Pennsylvania Health Care Coalition. Josh supports the region as a FEMA-qualified Medical Specialist and Structural Collapse Specialist on the Lehigh County Special Operations Team and Pennsylvania Company 3 Urban Search and Rescue (US&R) Team. Further, Josh volunteers on the Pennsylvania State Medical Assistance Team and is an intermittent employee of the US HHS National Disaster Medical System, serving as a Health Technician (Paramedic) on PA DMAT-4.
