Christopher Hendricks

Sergeant Christopher Hendricks has dedicated 40 years to Emergency Services, beginning his career as an EMT and volunteer firefighter before serving as a paramedic for years in multiple squads. For the past 19 years, he has worked as a police officer with the City of Allentown, where he currently serves as a patrol sergeant. Throughout his career, he has been a member of a dive rescue team, a flight medic, a crisis negotiator, and has maintained his paramedic license for decades. Passionate about bridging the gap between medicine and law enforcement, Sgt. Hendricks teaches tactical medicine at the police academy and has made it his mission to ensure officers are prepared to respond to life-threatening emergencies. Outside of his professional role, he is a proud stepfather to three and step-grandfather to six. He also enjoys staying active and working out.
