This session will explore the unique role that EMS plays in the continuum of violence intervention. Opportunities for collaboration, potential barriers, and strategies to overcome barriers between EMS and HVIPS will be discussed. Trauma-informed principles will be reviewed that may be utilized with violently injured patients.
