This four-hour Pediatric Readiness and Resuscitation Course prepares EMS clinicians to confidently assess, manage, and resuscitate critically ill and injured children. The course combines focused pediatric readiness concepts with hands-on, scenario-based learning emphasizing practical skills that can be immediately applied in the field. Participants review pediatric assessment, recognition of respiratory failure and shock, airway and ventilation management, high-performance CPR, medication and equipment considerations, and effective team-based resuscitation. Realistic pediatric scenarios reinforce clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork. The course is designed to build confidence, strengthen pediatric readiness, and improve the care EMS clinicians provide when every second matters.
