1.00 Clinical Credit
Many EMS professionals are promoted because they are exceptional clinicians, but leadership requires a much different set of skills. The transition from provider to supervisor can be one of the most challenging moments in an EMS career, particularly when leading former peers and making decisions that affect both people and operations. This session explores the foundational principles new EMS leaders need to succeed, including communication, credibility, and mindset. Participants will learn practical strategies to navigate early leadership challenges, avoid common pitfalls, and begin developing the confidence and perspective necessary to lead effectively in dynamic operational environments.
