Emergency Vehicle Functional Operations

This course will provide participants with the functional performance expectations and responsibilities associated with emergency vehicle operations. Through discussion and demonstration, functional performance expectations will be explored. Topics will include risk benefit analysis, signals, distracted driving, speed and road conditions, managing roadway intersections, parking, clearance, vehicle awareness and limitations, and attitudes associated with safe emergency vehicle operations.
