•Recognize classic and atypical stroke symptoms that EMS providers may encounter in the prehospital setting, including presentations that fall outside traditional stroke screening tools.
•Differentiate headache presentations that may indicate an acute stroke or other neurologic emergency from more common benign causes.
•Identify concerning dizziness and vertigo symptoms that may represent posterior circulation stroke and require rapid evaluation and transport.
